Cherry, blossom!

I can almost hear the cherry blossoms
pop pop pop popping
like so much Spring flavored popcorn
as if given a command
by the sudden warmth of this morning
to arrive all at once,
lining up, surely, to appear
    that they were already there,
    that they already loved,
    that they already knew the wisdoms of joy
        that we slow bloomers glimpse only with some effort,
        yet still eventually find our own pop pop popping way onto.
